The NBA is a league filled with superstars, but LeBron James is different. Why? He’s the best player in history and he’s still getting better.

The sleep quotes is a blog post that talks about how special LeBron James is.

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are hard at work integrating a new gadget. The Brooklyn Nets are attempting to reclaim Kyrie Irving. Ben Simmons, who requested a trade away from the Philadelphia 76ers, is now poised to play for them.

The NBA is a year-round league where drama reigns supreme. Perhaps that is why a two-time MVP is being overlooked.

Do you remember Giannis Antetokounmpo? Who was the MVP of last year’s Finals? He hasn’t made many preseason headlines, but he’s poised and ready to win his third MVP Award and second consecutive championship.

Giannis Antetokounmpo blitzed his way to the NBA title in 2021.

Last year’s NBA Finals saw the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Phoenix Suns 4-2 for their first title in 50 years. Milwaukee’s championship run was led by Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday, but it was Antetokounmpo who carried the Bucks to victory.

Before winning the series with a 50-point, 14-rebound, five-block Game 6, the previous Defensive Player of the Year averaged 35.2 points, 13.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.8 blocks.

The Greek Freak averaged 30.2 points, 12.8 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.2 blocks, and a steal in 21 playoff games. Antetokounmpo’s postseason play propelled him to new heights.

Giannis is getting buried in the news for some reason.

Because Giannis Antetokounmpo’s game is unlike that of any other superstar before him, some people are perplexed by his domination. However, his offensive flaws have been exposed to the point that he now seems to be undervalued. He’s an all-time great with plenty of opportunity for improvement. For the record

Most of the talk heading into the 2021-22 NBA season is on the trio of James, Simmons, and Irving. The homepage includes articles about the Nets, Lakers, Denver Nuggets, Stephen Curry, Simmons, and even Boston’s Al Horford six days before opening night.

There’s even a photo of PJ Tucker, a former Bucks forward who currently plays for the Miami Heat.

But there was no indication of Antetokounmpo or Milwaukee.

Bill Simmons of The Ringer noticed the trend and mentioned the 26-year-old on a recent visit on The Lowe Post Podcast:

“In a sport of athletes, there’s this athlete who is just superior to the other athletes. He’s at the pinnacle of his abilities, in his prime, and totally unafraid. I believe there is more in there for him to discover, that there is another level for him to reach.

“I simply get the feeling Giannis has worked it out. … ‘I’m simply a better athlete than everyone else in the league,’ he says. I’m overwhelming, I’m Shaq from 2000, I can go to the rim whenever I want, and no one can remain in front of me in transition.’

The Greek Freak is secretly preparing to lead the Bucks to back-to-back championships.

During last season’s Eastern Conference Finals, the five-time all-star watched his knee flex in the opposite way. He didn’t miss a game, but he wasn’t at full strength for the remainder of the playoffs (which makes his performance even more impressive).

The Alphabet acknowledged earlier this summer that he wasn’t fully recovered and should have missed time during the playoffs. He’s been cleared to play again, and in practice, he’s been playing 5-on-5.

He’s also played in preseason games; if Antetokounmpo weren’t healthy, the Bucks wouldn’t be putting their franchise superstar on the court in exhibition games.

Whether or not he’s being spoken about, one of the league’s most exceptional players is ready to go and attempt to lead the Bucks to a second consecutive title.
