So, Tiger Woods is back on the golf course. Everyone in golf is excited, but we’re guessing you’re not one of them. Yes, he’s got a new coach, and yes, he’s got a new club, and yes, he’s back in front of a crowd. But, you’re starting to have a sense of deja vu. The same questions keep popping up: “Has he really turned a corner this time?” “Is it all going to fall apart again?” “Will he ever be the same?”

It’s a sad day in the golfing world, as we’ve just heard the news that the world’s greatest golfer, Tiger Woods, has admitted to cheating on his wife. He’s admitted to infidelity, and there’s no denying that it’s a very sad day.

Tiger Woods isn’t the only athlete who has fallen on hard times. The last couple years have not been kind to golfing legend Nick Faldo and soccer star David Beckham. Both these athletes have had very public personal issues, but they can’t compare to Tiger’s scandal. Tiger is a very talented athlete who has had a lot of success in his career. He has won numerous championships and has been a major figure in the sport of golf for over twenty years. However, unfortunately, this success has also come with some negative attention.

Schirripa, Steve is unlikely to send Tiger Woods a “get well soon!” card anytime soon.

Schirripa has a history of expressing his concerns with celebrities and professional sportsmen. He is most known for his performances on The Sopranos and Blue Bloods. For reasons that reach well beyond the golf field, Woods is the latest person on Schirripa’s list.

Tiger Woods has been dubbed a “horrible human being” by Steve Schirripa.

Schirripa was an ordinary guy who did normal jobs to pay the bills long before he came to prominence as Bobby Baccalieri on The Sopranos. For years, he worked as an entertainment director in Las Vegas, where he met performers and comedians with whom he’d eventually collaborate in films and television programs.

Schirripa’s blue-collar upbringing, both in Las Vegas and in New York, makes him sympathetic to the struggle of the working man. He’s had it with celebrities and powerful individuals who don’t tip or are nasty to their followers for a long time.

Enter Woods, who made an indelible impact on the veteran performer. Schirripa referred to Woods as a “f—–g terrible human being” on the August 9 episode of Talking Sopranos due of his manners.

“[Woods] is the worst tipper I’ve ever seen. The wretchedest of the wretched. Selfish. The f—–g worst of the worst. It’s as simple as that.”

After Woods’ injuries, Schirripa, who turns 64 on September 3, said he hasn’t altered his mind about him. Woods is presently recuperating from open fractures in his right leg’s tibia and fibula bones.

Schirripa remarked, “These folks feel terrible – I don’t feel bad for Tiger Woods, one aorta.”

In the past, Schirripa had harsh words for Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.

It’s obvious that Schirripa’s dislike for Woods has grown over time. The veteran actor referred to Woods as the “worst tipper in the world” on a May 2020 episode of Talking Sopranos.

Schirripa was more critical of Chicago Bulls icons Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen on that particular day. He chastised “Hoardin’ Michael Jordan” and “No Tippin’ Pippen” for not tipping and showing respect for Las Vegas workers.

Given how much Jordan and Pippen made throughout their NBA careers, it’s difficult to disagree with Schirripa. Even though Pippen was underpaid during his peak year with the Bulls, he had enough of cash on hand for a few of tips.

Schirripa has a lengthy list of individuals with whom he has issues.

Those who devoured Talking Sopranos episodes like Baccalieri devoured baked ziti on the show know Schirripa has vented his frustrations and problems over the past year and a half.

At the very least, Jordan, Pippen, and Woods can rest easy knowing they’re not the only ones on Schirripa’s list. Other noteworthy people he’s ripped into throughout the course of the 73 episodes (including a stand-alone interview with David Chase, the show’s creator) include:

  • Actor Robert De Niro was often chastised by Schirripa for being disrespectful and a “a–hole.” Another actor, Pat Cooper, was chastised in the same way.
  • Actor Ben Affleck was lauded by Schirripa for leaving a $1,000 gratuity in chips at a Las Vegas casino. Jennifer Lopez, who was dating Affleck at the time, departed after picking up $500 in chips.
  • While not a celebrity, an anonymous “pundit” who went by the moniker “A.S.” contacted the program many times with fan ideas, many of which Schrippa rejected as rubbish. In a long statement delivered on air by Michael Imperioli, A.S. chastised Schirripa and his co-host.

Schirripa said that he plans to expose even more of his complaints in a pre-recorded part that he wants to tape before it airs after his death. By the sounds of it, we can expect to hear Woods’ name used during that venting session.
