Bryson DeChambeau Mysteriously Breaks Up With His Caddie and Brooks Koepka Couldn’t Help But Chime In

Bryson DeChambeau, one of the best golfers in the world, has had a difficult relationship with his caddie, Steve Williams. Over the weekend the pair split, with Williams posting a photo of the pair packing their bags on Instagram, captioning it with the words “Goodbye”. DeChambeau responded by telling reporters he wasn’t happy with the post and that he’d never seen Williams “so upset” before. On Twitter, Koepka, a rival of DeChambeau, also chimed in, saying “Good luck to Bryson. He needs some positivity off the course. #life”.

Bryson DeChambeau, the 19-year old pro golfer, has been withdrawing from tournaments this week after breaking up with his caddie, J.B. Holmes. A lot of people are speculating whether this is all a publicity stunt, but I say, “Hang on to your hat.” I’m not saying it’s a bad idea, or that DeChambeau doesn’t have the skills required to pull off a stunt like this. I’m simply saying that golf is a mysterious game, and anything can happen.

After spending the last couple of years playing in the shadow of Tiger Woods, Bryson DeChambeau has taken his game to the next level in 2018. The PGA Tour rookie has won three times in 2018, including a dramatic playoff win at the Players Championship, and he’s now in the mix to be a serious contender at this year’s U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills.. A shocking development: Bryson Deschambault and caddie Tim Tucker parted company amicably on the eve of the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic. The timing of the divorce is curious to say the least, as Tucker was in Deschambault’s pocket the entire week before the tournament.

But whatever the reason for the sudden split, Brooks Koepka quickly stepped in and traded his PGA Tour rival almost immediately after the announcement. It’s safe to say that no one is more excited about this news than Koepka.

Bryson Deschambault and his caddy Tim Tucker separated

Deschambault is preparing for the Rocket Mortgage Classic at the Detroit Golf Club this weekend to defend the title he won last season, but he will have to do it without his trusty right-hand man.

No Laying Up reported Thursday morning that Deschambault and his longtime caddie Tim Tucker parted ways amicably Wednesday night. Ben Shomin, Cobra Golf’s Director of Tour Operations, will take Tucker’s place in the Deschambault bag.

They had a good start and yesterday afternoon agreed to go their separate ways, Deschambault’s agent Brett Falcoff told on Thursday. Things are changing. Tim was tired, and Bryson was tired. In any relationship, things take their course, and that’s exactly what happened in this case.

It wasn’t a specific question. It was a great moment. Like any relationship between caddie and player, they have had their ups and downs. They only want the best for each other and will always be there for each other.

Tucker was in the bag for Deschambault’s eight PGA Tour victories. The duo briefly broke up in 2017, but after months of separation, they got back together.

Deschambault’s breakup with Tucker is more confusing than anything else

Professional golfers and their caddies are separated all the time. Tiger Woods has even changed caddies several times over the years, proving that even the most successful players need a change of scenery from time to time.

But this divorce is different.

Tucker was present in Deschambault all week during practice rounds and even at the Pro-Am tournament on Wednesday. Don’t you think if they had talked about breaking up earlier, Tucker wouldn’t have even gone to the tournament this weekend? And considering how meticulous Deschambault is about every detail of his golf game, there was no question that he would lose his caddie the day before the match.

It seems more like an instant decision by Deschambault or Tucker to leave each other than a thoughtful, planned breakup. There’s something there, and I hope we find out what it is soon.

Brooks Koepka can’t help but get in the game

Shortly after this unexpected statement, Koepka sprang into action, like a hungry cheetah that has just spotted its prey. Thursday afternoon, he took to Twitter to attack his rival.

I couldn’t have done it without my friend Rick! Best friend and best caddy for it. Ricky Elliott Appreciation Day!!! Koepka wrote accompanying a photo showing him and his lifelong caddy shaking hands.

Interesting timing, Brooksy.

In an exciting duel between Koepka and Deschambault, both golfers are constantly trying to troll the other.

Koepka wins this round by KO.

COMPARED TO: Brooks Koepka throws oil on the fire in his rivalry with Bryson Deschambault I definitely beat him.
